Wajahat Masood is a writer, journalist, teacher, political analyst, human rights activist and poet. He studied English literature at the Punjab University and completed his LLM in International Law from Leeds University (UK). He founded Democratic Commission for Human Development in 1994, which is the premier human rights education organization in Pakistan today. He has worked for major English and Urdu language newspapers in editorial capacity and was a regular contributor for BBC. Currently he is working as a political analyst for state-run TV and Radio. He has authored several books on history and politics.
