Orientation meeting with Key Stockholder -VC University of the Punjab

Lahore: The orientation session of the Project “Every Step Counts” with the Vice Chancellor and his team members took place at the VC office on 21st June 2021. The session began with the President of Media Foundation 360, Mubasher Bukhari briefing the participants about this project, its outcome, and the support needed from the university administration.

Mr. Bukhari also shared with the participants, the importance of capacity building for students and faculty members. He said the chain reaction that will begin after this project will have long-term effects.

The Project Manager, Mr Hasnain Tirmazi explained the project in detail. He also shared the points where the help will be needed by the VC office. He also shared the schedule and venue of activities with the Vice Chancellor. Participants, who were from the university administration asked questions about the project and shared a few of the challenges that could be faced during the project and its solution.

Vice Chancellor, Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar appreciated the objective of this project and said that he is looking forward to the project to kick-off. Dr Niaz also assured him and his team’s full support in carrying out activities smoothly. He also instructed his staff to facilitate team Media Foundation 360 in this project. He also expressed that he hopes to work on more such programs on campus.

 

Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr Saleem Hassan also appreciated the objective of this project. He said he believes that educational institutes do not just provide conventional education but they are also responsible for making them civilized human beings and developing skills like critical thinking, tolerance, and harmony.

Student Director Professor Muhammad Shafiq also assured his cooperation and shared some challenges that could be faced by hostel students. However, he assured that his staff will facilitate in conducting the activities.
